In a Renew Movement™ Fix & Go Bodywork session your Coach pins muscle adhesions (knots) while guiding you through systematic movement patterns. This pinning, paired with your movement, releases deep knots – your primary sources of discomfort.
-
This technique is used for spot specific pain, immobility and repetitive use injuries. A session addressed one or two problem areas.
-
People who are connoisseurs of deep tissue and/or sport massage enjoy this technique.
-
Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in (workout gear)
-
It’s not uncommon to feel sore in the days following your session (especially the first time). Your session may give you access to new range of motion - don’t over do it for 48 hours. A shift or change in your chronic discomfort in the days following your session is normal. In all, take it easy and drink lots of water.
-
Pregnancy, hyper-mobility, cortisone shots (wait 4-6 weeks), some antibiotics (tendon rupture risk), osteoporosis, excessive bruising.
-
There are many variables (home mobility practice, posture, activity level, stress level, etc). We see the most success in clients who commit to once a week for six weeks for a chronic condition, then a maintenance schedule determined by you and your Coach.
-
Full Body Stretch is likened to "passive yoga." While laying on a table you're taken through a wide variety of stretches to improve mobility and reduce/pain/tension/stress. A single session (45min) focuses on either lower or upper body. A double session (90min) allows time for a full body stretch (highly recommended)!
-
This technique is used for overall body tightness, increasing range of motion, and resetting your fascial network. Full Body Stretch is the perfect addition to your bodywork regimen; it allows additional elongation of tissue and fascial lines while relaxing the nervous system.
-
People who want to be more active, find relief from pain, and achieve new personal bests.
-
Comfortable clothing that allows you full range of motion (workout gear).
-
After a session you will feel lighter and relaxed. We recommend you drink lots of water, and take extra time to warm up for any activities in the 24 hours following your session.
-
If you are cleared for massage you are cleared for stretching.
